Drone Intel
Airframe, payload and compliance figures for the drones in the catalog, and a live web search for any drone you are considering. Every answer lists the pages it came from.
Search the web for drone information
Ask about any airframe, thermal payload or drone rule. Answers are read from live manufacturer and regulator pages, and every result lists the sources it used.

What this desk covers
Drone Intel is the drone division's research desk for thermal aircraft work. It answers the questions that decide a purchase — how much a payload weighs, how long the aircraft stays up with it, how far the sensor actually detects a person, and whether the system can be bought and flown under U.S. rules — and it keeps the answer with the pages it came from.
Airframes and payloads
Takeoff weight, maximum payload, endurance, ingress rating and the gimbal mount for the aircraft in the catalog, quoted as the manufacturer publishes them. Where a maker does not publish a figure, the record says so instead of filling the gap with a guess.
Thermal sensors in the air
Detector pixel arrays, lens focal length, pixel pitch and the detection distance those numbers produce, so a 640 × 512 payload on a 19 mm lens is compared against a 1280 × 1024 unit rather than against a marketing class label.
U.S. compliance status
NDAA Section 889 coverage, Blue UAS listing, Trade Agreements Act origin and Part 107 operating limits, with the regulator or manufacturer page each answer came from.
Sources on every record
Each entry lists the spec sheets and regulator pages behind its figures, and marks whether the numbers are fully published, partly published, estimated or unknown, so a team can re-check a value before it reaches a product page.
How to use it
Type an aircraft or payload into the search above — “DJI Matrice 4TD”, “Freefly Astro”, “NDAA” — and the desk reads the live web for current manufacturer and regulator figures, then cites them. Saving a result adds it to the library below so the same figures can be reused instead of looked up again. The library is searchable by keyword and filterable by manufacturer.
